The City of Peru Illinois wished to send out a basic mailer to notify residents about an upcoming electric meter change. We chose a bold blue and white color scheme to draw attention to the piece without communicating a sense of urgency or alarm. The typography was kept simple and bold for legibility. An image of electric meters conveyed the basic theme of the mailer at a glance and provided texture and interest to the front. Finally, the mailer was set up to print each resident’s address as shown in the sample piece.
